SUBJECT: OIL GALLERY PLUG TORQUE SPECIFICATION CHANGE
REFERENCE: GSX1300R SERVICE MANUAL - PN 99500-39180-03E
ATTACHMENT: REPLACEMENT PAGE 8-43 FOR SERVICE MANUAL
NOTICE:
The oil gallery plug tightening torque specification has been changed. The change is effective
on motorcycles produced during or after May, 1999. When servicing a GSX1300R engine,
use the revised specification. Please insert the enclosed revised page 8-43 into your
GSX1300R service manual or change your manual per the information listed below.
