Default '03 749 turning signal issues...

Hey guys, I just purchased an '03 749, excellent condition with 7k on it. I'm having issues with the front turn signals and right rear turn signal. I just took it off the back of the truck so i have not had a chance to look into it yet.

I did check the right rear bulb which is still good.

Any suggestions or others who have run into a smiliar issue. It did get rained on during the transport to Minneapolis, could something have gotten wet and what would you reccommend to do if that's the case?

thx -

I had a similar issue with the left side directional (front and rear) on my S2R after a quick jaunt in the snow.
Though I couldn't prove it (being an electrical systems tech I'm used to suprises in systems) I think it was just trapped moisture in one of the connections.

Try disconnecting the spade connectors on the side with the trouble (front and rear, they seem interconnected on the ducs) dry em out good, dab some dielectric grease on there (available for a couple bucks at an autoparts store), re connect em and try it out.

Good luck, if that doesn't work you have a short in that side of the harness somewhere and it's fun time with mr multimeter.
