Default You guys/gals still diggin' your Superhawks?

I figured I post up again since it's been awhile since this section of the forum has seen some action.

So do you guys/gals still dig your Superhawk? I know I do.

Moving to a big city after living in the flatlands, I've grown to appreciate the Superhawks soft suspension nature. The countless potholes I've encountered were all handled with ease ( although some of them feel as if I bent my rim ). I also installed some aluminum Micron pipes on it and boy! Was I missing out. It sounds and feels so much better!!! I still need to replace my rotors since they vibrate when I brake, and after that, it should be all good.

Ride safe!!! and let the mighty v-twin be known...

LOVING IT!!!

Absolutely love mine. I have SS lines, EBC pads and dot5 fluid, talk about kung fu brakes! I ride with a 748, 2 f4is, a daytona 955i, an rc51, and a zx10r, and I dont think I would trade mine for a great all around bike. The yoshimura pipes and rejetting helped alot, not to mention the sprocket change, CCTs, and PAIR removal. I need to find a good undertail because the one that came with it broke and looks trashy. The only other bikes I would probably replace it with would be a speed triple 1050, an xb12r, a tuono or a brutale(yeah right). Anyways, downtown between all the buildings, it just sounds beautiful.

Ride safe everyone,

Danny

Yea. I'm kind of in the mood to buy something new, but I can't find anything wrong with it, so I have no excuse.

I have a '98 Super Hawk with 25,000 miles on it and I love this bike. Leo Vince pipes, Corbin seat, Zero Gravity windscreen. I need a new chain and I am curious about making a sprocket change. Is 1 tooth less on the front sprocket and 2 up on the rear too drastic?

Im one tooth down on the front, and it helped a lot. I would prefer to go up 2 in the rear also, just because sixth still feels a little tall and I like wheelies Just my .02
