I'm still scared of doing stand ups. I just got a dirtbike though ... so the fear should pass soon.

Ducait Monster Stand-ups
HEy guys,
New to the thread here (jus joined today). I usually hang out at DML, but your boobie threads have brought me this way. Anyways, I noticed a few people have been posting stand-up wheelie's so i just thought I would some of mine.

YouTube - Stand-Up Monster S4 Wheelie
Also, I noticed a few members said they were just in the learning of process of this "trick". I wrote a post on DML a while ago explaining "my prespective" of the wheelie (it was written explaing v-twins), however all the same skills are required. So if you are in the "I wanna be able to do that" stage, or perfecting your current skills, take a read.

Thanks guys.

First bit of footy I've gotten. My wife filmed while watching the baby so its not too good at all. Also it was my first time using an editing program. This is really just somthing to put up in the dead stunt section we got here, haha.

Awesome videos apfire. So did you guys just go buy stunt bikes and start learning? I want to get a stunt bike but I dont know if I will ever be able to do wheelies like that. Did it take you awhile to get comfortable and then things just click or what?

Thats exactly what happend, it took me a while to get used to it, then it clicked. Or I should say, its starting to click. I've still got a long way to go.
I learned to wheelie on my first bike, a 929. From there I relized that "stunting" was somthing I really wanted to do, so I did some research and bought a stunted out 636 for 3K.
If you really want to do it, save some money or get a small personal loan and get a beater. Somthing already stunted, that way you don't get so pissed WHEN you wreck the bike. I've been riding about 2 years total, just to give you somewhat of a time frame.
