Default Progress Pictures

This forum has kind of been off the stunting topic for a little while so I thought I would get it back on track by showing some of my progress pictures.

Here are a couple of pics and a vid from Saturday at the lot. I still suck and I know I'm not at bp but I'm getting closer, little by little. I'm getting pretty consistent on my clutch ups so now its just a matter of getting higher and higher... then there is the small matter of brake control.

I'm learning standups with no sitdown experience, so basically from scratch on the F4i. I can wheelie my DRZ SM and my fiddy but somehow that didn't transfer over to this bike. I think it was a combination of the years I spent riding a 1000cc Vtwin that has a completely different power band and the fact that I am apparently a giant pussy .

Two down in the front. I bought it with 11 up but it was too twitchy. I'm going to rock nearly stock until I lock it down.

Looking Good

Seems like you are progressing well. I been out on the 92niner quite a bit lately , but most of my riding is done on back roads so its been alot of 2nd gear chit. Been trying to rock it in 1st as much as I can but its tough with cagers come'n up on me when im going that slow.

Anyway, was out on friday playing around in first and, as stupid as it sounds, got the front tire to stop spinning. Normally I dont pay to much attention to it and when it stopped I immediately focused on it and dropped the wheelie. It happened a few times after that but Im still not as consistent as I need to be. Hopefully I can get one of my buddies to get some pics one of these days but those lazy beatches never wanna ride anymore so we'll see.

Sorry for the hijack but relevant stunt talk is hard to find on here.

Keep practicing you're almost there. It just a mental thing now. This process is longer for some than it is for others. For me it was longer because I was learning on a brand new bike that I didnt want to trash it (didnt think the bank or insurance company would understand). Just curious, Im assuming you are in 1st, what speed are you doing this at? It took me a while to get comfortable with 1st gear BP wheelies for reasons stated above. I learned standups in 2nd on the highway and been there ever since. Not really into parking lot stunting, I watch but thats about it.
