You prolly just need to rev it a little more. I almost redline my 929 for second gear sit downs. With one foot on the back peg it comes up a lot easier but you may not want to try that yet.

Umm yeah cause you have to compensate at the clip on. YOUll LOOP IT to the right if ya dont compensate on the throttle side clip on. Dude just bounce it in 1st for a while. I KNOW YA DONT NEED TO but you have better engine breaking in first . Im only telling you to bounce it in 1st to get used to it. When I bounce em I do a combination of three things. I rev up to a little past power band , roll off to closed throttle and at same time i bounce on the pegs and bthen snap back to wot and jerk on bars. I then pull the bars to my chest and stand up. Voilla BP. I have my rear brake covered and actually keep the bike at wot and regulate the wheelie with my rear brake
