i would guess, not to cut the throttle and would suggest to just ride it out.

It'll come easier as you gain more throttle control but one suggestion that works for most people is right before the front wheel is about to touch down give it a little gas thus making the front wheel lighter and not coming down as hard.

I usually give it a little throttle as she's coming down, and also lean back a little, but sometimes no matter what you do, she's still going to land hard here and there. I have gotten to several speeds, and when coming down, the front wheel lands like that of an airplane, and also leaves a black mark on the roadway. To me, those are perfect and smooth landings.

thanks for the help, ya im guessing when the wheel stops in the air it all amek a mark on the road after but i can get it up for about 3-4 secondes and it comes down hard, so im guessing i just let go of the throttle to much.

Yeah dude your are chopping the throttle. Learn to not let off so fast. The trick is to be comfortable in the wheelie and that takes practice. As you progress you will learn more. and more throttle control. Until then just try not to cut the throttle so fast.

today i tried being confortable doing them and not be nervous, i got 1 up pretty good and landed it soft and a seconde 1 wasnt as good but was no prob to handle and then the 3rd 1 was like shit my wheel did a little wobble coming down, i think its cuz i moved the handle bars in the air? is that possible? But im not consistent i do the same thing every time and sometimes it only goes like half not even.

Umm heck yeah its possible to move the bars. Its SO IMPORTANT to set that front wheel down STRAIGHT.....Wheelies are all about your comfort level. Its better to work your way up in increments , just when you are about to crap your pants set it down. Then do it again and again until the oh shit factor moves to a higher wheelie. Its not hard . There is alot of skill involved but not as much as you need balls to get to the balancing point and keep it there for a 1/4 mile or so. Just remember DONT Shift Your Body around and dont lean back. make sure BOT Hands are even with one another before you set that front tire down. If not you are going to either damage your head bearings or it will slam your butt down to the ground when it hits

Good advice i only did 1 wheelie that i was confortable and landed it with no problem...my prob is that when i get up there i dotn hold on to throttle long enought and i land fast cuz of the " OH SHIT" factor.
