Default Where should I be looking?

When actually pulling up the wheeling, should i be listening to the motor and watching the road, or should i be watching the tach so i know where to consistantly drop the clutch (im clutching up the wheelies in the 2nd gear)

thanks

When I was learning I found myself to be more consistent when I was looking at the tach. It helped me learn exactly where in the rpms to clutch it up at to bring the bike up to where I wanted it. But since then me and my bike have "bonded" and I know about where I am in the rpms by sound and feel so I dont really look anymore.

I would just do it by feel. I never looked at the tach to practice my wheelies... once you get the feel for it you're all set.. just keep practicing until it feels right.
