Check your specs again. Wet, that bike is close to 500 pounds. So yes it is heavy and lacks the torque to be a good stunt bike. Can it wheelie? Of course but the question of is it a good stunt bike? No its not.

No, the Katana is not a good stunt bike. It's possible to wheelie it, however not by someone who doesn't know what they're doing, and even then sprocket adjustments might be required. It's heavy, slow, underpowered, and the oil pickups will be starved if you get past 20 degrees or so. The rear tire is narrow, making it a little less stable if you do manage to get it up.

Don't forget about the fork seals you're going to blow all the time.

a 2001 for $400? Buy it, fix it up, and sell it for $2500.

Thanks for the ideas. I had the same ideas, but sometimes it is better to hear it from someone else.

Oh yeah, forgot about those... If you're going to wheelie a Kat you better be DAMN good at a soft lett-down.

I ride a Kat, nice bikes, for sport touring and some light spirited twisty action, I certainly wouldn't recommend it for stunting.
