where to start, hmm. Dont go out on the highway and attempt your first ever wheelie. Go to a back road and start learning to clutch. You will need to get used to being on one wheel and that will take some time. Once you are comfortable with your technique and riding your bike on one wheel, then you can head the highway and start riding some. When you wreck on the highway, it can get ugly real fast.

ok i wasn't clear...not my first ever wheelie. just first time riding a gixxer. i've heard about having to either over fill the oil or moving the pick up forward and stuff. i was just wondering if there were any tips specific for this bike. and the lean sensor...how do i disable that?

i think gixxers are notorious for starving for oil on long highway wheelies. over fill your oil. other than that, if you know how to wheelie it shouldn't be a problem. i used to bounce up my roomates 01 gix600 in 3rd on the highway.

so other than the oil starvation, nothing really needed? any problems from over filling for long periods of time...cause i only wheelie when i'm bored, i normally just enjoy the ride. basically should i just overfill if i feel like wheelie-ing that day or is it safe to keep a little over?

Suzukis are notorious for oil starvation...but unless you're riding them for over a mile or so then you really dont need to overfill and if you do overfill it only takes a little and no answer your question yes it is safe to run it a little over just dont go overboard with it.
