Stunterz CornerDo you like to ride a bit different from everyone else? Like to see how long you can ride on one tire? Front or back? Well this is the place for you. All Stunt groups are located here now.
Watch this video . Pay close attention to the guy wearing a tan shirt and the guy on the Red Bike about 3/4 into the video. He shows a perfect example of " Bouncing it " . Not everyone here fully understands what that term means and are afraid to ask so I am answering it for you...I feel we are all Kinesthetic learners . Meaning we need to SEE IT Once before we can do it ourselves

The friction which results from ignorance can be reduced only by the spread of knowledge- NIKOLA TESLA Want to learn how to work on your bike? Check the "HOW TO" subsection of HELP ME FIX IT.
Maybe they are riding liter bikes, it seems like clutching a liter bike would be nuts.
Not really...just depends what is comfortable for you. Clutching a 1000 in 2nd thru 4th gear comes up pretty smoothly plus you dont have to be racing the bike as fast if you were to power it up. After 3rd gear you really have to work that throttle to get the bike up so the bounce method is a great way to wheelie. Bouncing is basically power wheelie with a little help.
so when bouncing, you close the throttle and go downward - then just rip the throttle back open? and you do not pull up on the bars, correct? do you do this while slipping the clutch?
you shouldnt need to pull on the bars. pulling on the bars will just lead to you turning them and you'll end up coming down crooked. once you get some experience you can pull on the bars, but i've never really found it necessary. Unless your bike is a POS you shouldnt need to bounce and clutch at the same time.

I have been messing around with this for the past week or two. Sometimes it comes up and sometimes I pussy out and dont give enough gas. It just feels like I will never get over the awkward feeling of standing.
i started popping'em on a 250 motocross so the awkrdness was easily over come
