i couldnt bounce 2nd before tonight

heyyyyyyyyyyyy i just learned how to bounce up 2nd gear last night. I was on the highway w/ my friends going to a party and some girls came up to us doing the "do something on your bike" motion with their hands and i wasnt about to slow down to 20 (we were going 80) to clutch up 1st (lol) so i dropped it into 2nd and bounced on the pegs real hard and pinned it. the front end came up high and smooth and it was instant BP.

You shoulda seen their faces (and their tits!)

we were going 80 when the girls caught up to us, so by the time i clicked down and rev matched 4 times (6th to 2nd) i was going maybe 68-70something. I HATE downshifting without rev matching...makes a bad banging noise. my 2nd goes to 90 or 95 or something.

Ok I guess kawi's are capable of that... My yami redlines at 80-90 in 2nd, so I couldn't visualize the bike having enough power between 80-90 to bring up the front

yeh you didnt notice, everyones first wheelie seems to come up to BP, float for a min then come back down. I guess I was the only one who didnt hit BP in the first month of practicing wheelies

it surely wasnt 12'd out, but with the ammt of throttle i was using (smooth, precise movements) i could have ridden that thing until it spun all its bearings.

I've gotten SO much better at it now. Now im using my brake and just going full throttle. That previous wheelie, i just got lucky it came up to where it did

come on snigg..............we all know how it feels the first couple times. EVERYTHING IS ABOUT TO FLIP OVER...........regardless if the suspension just unloaded or it actually wheelied

I just learned to bounce 2nd up a few days ago. I'm able to shift into 3rd every few tries also. Very fun!
