Default new sprockets

i have a 98 yzf600, and the power method for wheelies does not work. i really hate dumping the clutch as well. i heard if i install a 49 tooth rear sprocket and a 14 tooth front, (47t-15t stock) that i will have no problem bringing my front tire off the ground. is this correct? is this an easy modification to do? my other question is, will i have to get a new chain if i do this, or will the one i have one still fit?

if theres a better forum to post this in, let me know.

you must clutch. it is the best method. i started out on power wheelies, but then after discovering the clutch there is no turning back.
yes, 1 down 2 up is a very common gearing configuration and it will make wheelies easier without affecting your top speed much.
