Default installing sliders

anyone know the best way to mod my left fairing to install my sliders other than paying someone to do it for me?

how did you line it up with the engine mounts though. the zx6 has the left plastic covering the whole mount and I dont want to just start cutting away I want to try to find the center or the bolt first and drill it and work from there. any ideas?

try a piece of putty, use it on the inside of the fairing to gauge where the bolt sits.

you could also back the bolt out a little to the point that it's almost touching the inside of the fairing, then "paint" the head with a sharpie and put the fairing back on. Tap it a little with your hand to flex the fairing inward to the point that it contacts the bolt head, then when you take the fairing off again you'll have a mark where the bolt was...

"no cut" sliders are pretty pointless. The bracket that they use dramatically increases the torque applied to the attachment point at the engine mount, and can often cause more damage to the frame than they prevent. Companies only produce them because they know people want to feel protected without having to really put any effort in to it.
