Default Sprocket size question?

Just wondering what size sprockets you guys use for slow stunting. Looking for the right size sprocket for a 02 GSXR 1000.

Mine aren't all that far from stock, but then again I don't do a lot of "Slow" stunting. But If it helps my buddy rides an 03 Gixxer 7 and he's been doin circle wheelies and all that slow stuff. He running 9 up in the back and I think 1 up in the front. The front I'm not 100% on but the back I'm sure of.

you mean 1 DOWN on the front. 1 up on the front would negate going up on the back. general rule of thumb.... down 1 on the front = roughly up 2 1/2-3 on the rear.

down 4? that is rediculous and has to fuck his chain up. i dont think the chain can make the turn with that small of a front sprocket.

dont want to hijack this thread so either tell me to start a new one or PM me or respond if you want. i have a 97' yzf600 and dont really want to stunt just learn simple wheelies (standups and sit downs) and be able to ride them out. Right now it doesn't come up too well. im thinkin of going 1 up 2 down, more for performance, but how much will this improve ease of gettin that front up? Thanks!

Your right like usual, I asked him yesterday when I saw him, up 10 in the back not 9, and down 1 in the front. I must have been thinking with my ass when I posted before!

you shouldn't need anything drastic on a 1000, you can get them going pretty slow with stock gearing. When you sprocket liter bikes to much they become very twitchy, if anything try -1 +2.
