i tell ya, ive been trying to get the front wheel up for sometime now, am i screwing this up or what? Ive been told that my bike (2000 ZX-6R Ninja) is pretty heavy and thats the prob. but who the hell knows. any comments on what I can do to fix this?

Its not the bike, its you. Its not a heavy bike, you should be able to do wheelies all day. Read the sticky, and practice. Try using the clutch, because it sounds like you aren't.

Definitely, I can vouch I had two ZX6r's they are actually really easy and real comfortable to wheelie. Just keep practicing.

yeah practice clutching first gear over 20mph. It should come up fine.

my 01 zx6r goes for ever and ever...and is only 377lbs dry, not really that heay at all new gixers (6's) i think are 360's
