Default Anyone rockin an SV650?

Hey kids. I've pretty much decided that the bike I get in the next few weeks will be a 99 or 00 Suzuki SV650. My buddy had a 2000 that I rode and it was smooth, quick enough, very comfortable, and cheap.

However, it is down about 29hp compared to my F4i (stolen, no insurance, which is why I'm looking for a $3000 SV) but up a few lbs-ft in the torque department. Anyway, anyone know how this thing does with wheelies? I don't care too much about first cuz I can get that up on any bike, but is it possible to bounce up second with impeccable technique, which I have (had)? Or is the only way to get this cute little twin up in second to use a heavy dose of clutch? I just wanna get back on two wheels, but being able to get on one at my whim would be nice too. Thanks in advance.

Torque makes wheelies not hp, you'll be fine. 2nd should come up no problem.

Keep the rpm's low and run extra oil if you're counting on balancing long wheelies. There are rumors of oil starvation in the front cylinder.

I wasn't planning on getting into stunting with an SV. I was just asking if this thing would bring up a wheelie with ease and if I could ride one for a mile.

It will bring up wheelies with ease, but at slower speeds than a 600cc. If you're going to try to ride wheelies for a mile refer to my first post.
