i just ordered a 520 kit for my F2...its -1 in the front, and +2 in the rear. I hear it is supposed to optimize your performance in acceleration. It sounds to me like a +3 or +4 in the rear might be a little much, but if you like doing wheelies all day long then i suppose it could be the right one for you....

i was going to ask a question about this too.

i just got a cbr929rr and was wondering what sprocket setup to run to make 2nd gear wheelies easier.

my last bike was a cbr600f4, -1 front, +2 in rear and i could snap the front end up straight to the balance point. with my stock geared 929, im having trouble, it slowly floats up, and i have trouble getting it up at higher speed (maybe i should try taking viagra at 100mph)

anyone have any reccommendations? i want to learn to get the wheel up at 60+. my only worry is that the bike may come up too abruptly if too aggressively geared.

My gixxer 600 (02) is -1 +2 and I can bounce it up in 3rd gear on the highway no problem. I think +4 may be a little too much if you plan on doing a lot of highway riding. But it depends on what you plan to do with the bike.

You should be able to do them stock. That bike has some nut. I'm sure you don't even have to bounce it @ 60. I've seen people on that bike bring it up in 4th gear. Its not the sprockets, its you.

most new sport bikes dont need gearing, unless you want slow shit. they have enough power to come up and alitle bounce goes a long way. learn to ride before getting gears

you guys are right, i'll admit it, its me.

i know a stock geared 929 should come up in 2nd, and maybe 3rd, i just dont have the rhythm or timing down yet. i just remember riding 600s, i hated wheelie-ing stock geared 600s and loved my -1/+2 setup since it was so much easier.

i was just wondering if it would be that much easier on my 929 with at least -1 in front.
