I noticed there are 2 dates listed, September 8-9 and the 30th. If it wasn't 13-14 hours away (for a track day) I would have considered it, plus a few weeks later I'm going to the Race of Champions at Daytona so that would be alot of extra driving in a relatively short period of time.

But I have been considering going to the CCS races at Barber August 11-12, would you consider racing the bike there instead John? We could always share costs and take my truck and trailer if your interested and pick-up Will along the way if he was interested as well. Just a suggestion.

I would love to race the bike. Unfortunately, I have 2 herniated disks in my back and riding at 10/10ths for me right now is probably not the greatest idea. I might be ok by then, but I can't plan on it right now.

Actually, the plan WAS to race it this season. The only reason it is a streetbike is because my Ducati is a permanent resident of the dealer service dept.

Oh, and my crappy back.

well, I'm in. I'll be ridin my SV in Advanced (the date is Sept 8-9). Should be a pretty good time, I need to drop like 5 seconds from my best time there in May but the bike is a hell of a lot better now (geometry was unbelievably f'ed up at the time). Might even bring some U4 to run a session or two lol

hopefully the heat around here will slack off a little bit by then, these 110 degree weekends are killin me!
