Thanks everyone. Just waiting on the insurance company at this point. Then I get to wait on the GAP claim. THEN I can worry about getting another bike. By the time all this waiting is over I should have no choice but to get an '08.

That's bro but I'm not going to jump the gun and buy another bike until I get the other loans paid off. I'm still paying on the '06 I wrecked in April. (I refinanced my loan 2 weeks before wrecking and voided the GAP). Once that's paid off and GAP pays off the '07 I'll look at a new bike.

It's insurance that covers the difference between what the insurance pays you and what you owe on the bike....since frequently the bike depreciates enough that you may owe more than the insurance pay out.

Hi Guys,

Well here's an update to this story, I actually ended up buying this bike from the Insurance auctions, and shipped it to New Zealand were I live, I was surfin the internet for information on it's history, using the VIN number and came across this thread.

Small world Huh!!

Fred, if you read this would you mind sending me a PM, I have a few questions on the bike, wondered if you might be able to help me? or if anyone can put me in contact with him?

Thanks

James

Blue 2007 ZX10R

License # - 18Y6717

VIN # - JKAZXCD127A026184

Pretty stock looking bike. All stickers removed except for the Kawasaki on the tank. Full sliders: forks, frame, swingarm. Aftermarket baffles inside stock muffler (makes the hole seems much bigger). The baffles were very loose in the exhaust. Blue tank pad. ZX-10R.net cover on the brake resv. Front tire: Qualifier Rear tire: Power Race. Bald on the sides.
