Sprint ST Life is full of compromises, as are many motorcycles. The Sprint ST, thankfully, doesn't have to make any. It's a sports bike that covers miles, a touring bike that carves corners with a truly usable mix of poise, power and all-round practicality.

Default Can you fit a full faced helmet in the hard bags?

I can't. Wondering if there's a trick, or my XXL is just too big

I don't think it can be done. I have tried a couple of times with my XL Shoei. Unfortunately, when the panniers (or hard bags or whatever you want to call them) were designed it mustn't have been on the criteria list for the panniers to have the ability to house a helmet.

When they redesigned the new Sprint for the 2005 model, the bags they released were able to hold a full face helmet.

BUT- they were having problems with the latches on the bags, and some other quality control issues. So they redesigned them partway through the 2005 model year. So any late 2005 or newer model Sprint comes with the NEW style hard bags (panniers), that are a bit smaller but MUCH more sturdy and watertight.

I also think that is why they had a deal for a while where they gave away the hard bags when you bought a Sprint. Not for sure on that one. They may just run that special every summer.

So yeah- it ain't gonna fit.

Another useless Triumph fact brought to you by Kevin.
