Sprint STLife is full of compromises, as are many motorcycles. The Sprint ST, thankfully, doesn't have to make any. It's a sports bike that covers miles, a touring bike that carves corners with a truly usable mix of poise, power and all-round practicality.
Not much Triumph interest here I guess. Pretty much the polar opposite of the FZ6 forum which is normally boiling.
I recently bought a '00 Sprint RS and have been checking the 'other' triumph forum for info.
Made the mistake of riding the demo 1050 Speed Triple at the local dealer today. Now I need one.

As the cars roar into Pennsylvania, the cradle of liberty, it seems apparent that our citizens are staying off the streets, which may make scoring particularly difficult, even with this year's rule changes. To recap those revisions: women are still worth 10 points more than men in all age brackets, but teenagers now rack up 40 points, and toddlers under 12 now rate a big 70 points. The big score: anyone, any sex, over 75 years old has been upped to 100 points.
I sold my FZ6 and bought an 06 Sprint ST a few months back. I LOVE it, I couldn't be happier. I debated over the 07 bars though, I still might get them in a year or so.

I had a 01 ST and loved it!! I put 35000 miles on the bike in about a year and a half without any problems. Will have another soon. Best sounding smoothest bike I have ever owned.
