Sprint ST Life is full of compromises, as are many motorcycles. The Sprint ST, thankfully, doesn't have to make any. It's a sports bike that covers miles, a touring bike that carves corners with a truly usable mix of poise, power and all-round practicality.

Default Adrenaline High

There is a dealer here in Fort Worth I go by all the time. I stopped by on Saturday. Very friendly, knowledgeable and low pressure sales people. That alone is going to make me buy there. There is a woman who works there that I swear must know every little tid-bit about the company from day one. She was really cool and she rides a Speed Triple! I went for a ride on a black 07 ABS Sprint. I come from a 79 Kaw KZ1000 that my younger Bro owns now. The Sprint was incredible for me! They gave it to me and the dealer is on the service road of a freeway. I went thru the neighborhoods and what great braking that thing has. Come to a stop sign and seems like I could sit there for 2 minutes and not have to put my leg down. VERY well balanced! Great power from nothing up to?? Then out on the freeway, where the dealer told me to run its paces! Great power as stated before, very comfortable positioning on the bike. I was on an adrenaline high the rest of the day! I got home and kinda kicked myself for not taking the 675 for a spin to! ALL the Triumphs are nice looking to me! I have a brochure with the prices on it and I know it's my next bike, whether it is the Sprint, Speed Triple or the 675! If your just thinking about it at least take one for a ride!

I opted for the Sprint, I tend to like to take long rides and short trips on her.
Having the taller windshield really helps with fatigue, and the more upright riding position saves the back. However, if you like haulin' ass in the twisties...go for one of the other 2. Good luck with your decision, either way you win.
