Sprint ST Life is full of compromises, as are many motorcycles. The Sprint ST, thankfully, doesn't have to make any. It's a sports bike that covers miles, a touring bike that carves corners with a truly usable mix of poise, power and all-round practicality.

Default Anyone routinely 2 up riding the ST?

I'd be getting this as a compliment to a pure sportbike (675 or R6) getting out of the FZ6 and splitting it into two must haves instead of one do all.

Anyone put a 150+ second rider on one of these ST's?

Comments, warnings?

Thanks!

I have, but not often. It rides fine and acceleration does not seem affected at all. Once your going I don't notice the extra weight unless I'm going slow. Even though the bike is very stable. A couple of times when making a tight 180° my wife has commented afterwards that "I didn't think we were going to make it" but the Sprint just takes in stride.

Can you give some ...........size stats on your passenger. Weight, height?

side note-cool, that you're from Traverse? I was born/raised in Alpena, did some training at Burns Clinic! Love that Petoskey area!

My GF and I go 2 up all the time on my ST. She finds it extremely comfy compare to my other bikes and honesty I'm more comfortable on it with her on the back that I was with my other bikes.

As far as weight goes.. I'm 6'1 - 200 and she's 5'7 ish and maybe 130 or so. We probably total out at around 350 - 375 lbs on the bike with gear and all

Got a chance to test drive one today. 06 Red, before they put the bags on it. anyone have pictures of how it looks with bags off/supports on? It seem like a plastic bolt on rail then some metal tubing bits for lower stability? Does anything hook to that ugly rear fender, that's gotta go. I assume there are integrated lights and or eliminator kits?

Ya. the fender eliminator is a Tail Tidy. I'm going to go with that and then use Clear Alternatives to integrate the tail light and turn signals
