You know they did.... And they did it with style. NW did some nice things though. Their RB is a bit of a beast, and can catch too!
Next week is the one that matters. I really don't see any reason to fear Ohio State. They have not done ANYTHING this year that has been dominant. Beat Ohio by 12, Didnt even bother going out to Southern Cal, beat troy by 18, Minnesota by 13, Wisconsin by 3, and Purdue by 13.... absolutely nothing dominant. MSU's weakness IS with the run though, and that is OSUs strength, but Beanie wells has missed so much, they really dont have a rhythm on offense.

I was out of town...but would've picked the Spartans.
Exodus is right though, next week is the big one. If State can get by Ohio State then it will open up a road to a Big 10 Championship showdown with Penn State at the end of the season.

I am VERY proud of the Spartans. After their disaster of game against OSU, they didnt pull a Michigan State and give up on the season. They went to "The Big House" and roughed up UofM pretty soundly despite the refs best efforts. While UofM is down this year, it is still a huge rivalry game, and this year, "little brother" came in and stuck it to them.

Agreed. Hopefully this turns the tide on the recruiting in the state for a little while, too.
This was, to me, the Spartans best game in recent memory...probably since the Nick Saban area.
It had EVERYTHING that usually causes the Spartans to just roll over and die. They had some really bad calls go against them, but got past it. They gave up a lead in the second half, but got past it. They came back from behind in the second half. They fought for the entire game.
Awesome game by State.
