Spending your very first pick on a running back isn't really the best idea anymore. Almost every team uses a tandem of backs...and the problem isn't necessarily the fact that they use a tandem, but the WAY they use the tandem.
Quite a few teams have a back that they use for finesse that gets most of the yards...then they go to a power guy to get the ball those last two yards into the end zone. So you're left screwed one way or another...end up with a guy who gets a ton of yards but not a ton of TDs, or get a guy that gets a ton of TDs but hardly any yards...
I think there's a few solid exceptions (LT, Peterson, Westbrook), but that definitely seems to be the rule, and is part of my decision to go QB first. Besides, I listed my reasons I won't pick up those first two guys above.
I probably shouldn't be telling my draft strategy to you guys anymore

No, actually you should...because if others draft like you, then maybe you won't be so horrible this year!!!

You start out motorcycling with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

Since I'm picking second I think I will take a QB first. By the time it gets back to me the top 3 QB's will be gone. I can always get a good RB later since most teams split carries.
... so Me and Kevin Curtis are gonna take you guys out.... pshhhh!!! LOL

Thought I was picking 2nd but picked 6th. Good thing I pre ranked because something came up this Am and I had to leave the house. Still got a decent team. Just need to fine tune things.
