Default Open coaching positions in college football

The buzz is starting to get crazy with some of the open coaching postitions and possible open positions that will come up after this weekend. Looks like the biggest spot so far will be the Michigan job. Kinda sad to see Carr go.

Michigan is supposedly going to go after Les Miles pretty hard.

I don't know why he'd want to leave LSU for U of M...but who knows.

Damn Michigan can have Les Miles. He's not a "great" coach. The only reason he's winning at LSU is because of the talent Nick Saban recruited. He makes poor decisions at crucial points in crucial games.

So, Miles goes to UM. Who does LSU get? I like the current Def. Coordinator, Bo Pelini.

Oh, and GEAUX TIGERS!!!

LSU v. KANSAS in the Sugar Bowl for the Nat. Championship

The Sugar Bowl isn't the National Championship game...

I'm hearing that Saban has actually put a call in saying he wants to come back and Steve Spurrier would be another strong consideration if Miles leaves(don't know how much truth there is to that though).

have you heard his latest media outlet miscue? he compared the back-to-back alabama loses to catastrophic events in american history (i.e. pearl harbor and 9/11).

what a douche.

I'm guessing that if LSU knows anything at all by now, they wouldn't even interview Nick Saban for the position.

There's not really anything weird about it at all. Both games just happen to be played in the Super Dome.

Last year's BCS Championship game was played at the same venue that the Fiesta Bowl was played at, but it wasn't called the Fiesta Bowl.

Okay, I will accept that...

It is a bit confusing, especially seeing as they are both sponsored by the same company.
