Default Panthers Smith burns teammate

In the locker room Wednesday, Dwayne Jarrett was speaking with reporters. Steve Smith approached the interview and asked Jarrett "Instead of talking to the media, why don't you go watch some film?"
Jarrett at first laughed, then Smith followed up by saying "Seriously," in a strong tone. Jarrett has been active for one game in his rookie year. It's not a good sign that he can't pass Keary Colbert, who has struggled as a starter. | 10/31/2007 2:24:00 PM

That's pretty amusing.

Receivers these days are amazing to me...I mean, I know they've got skills, but so many of them think that they don't have to do any work to be good in the NFL...and that's just not the case.

Most of them are a bunch of over-paid cry babies.

Take for example Brandon Lloyd from the Skins. His number was called during the week because Santana Moss was out with an injury. During practice someone "hit" his shin and was out for the game.

motherfucker if i'm paying you 8million a year to go out there and catch a damn ball you better be out on that field unless your bone is poking through your skin.

Jarrett is a punk! I've thought of him as a punk ever since his taunting bullshit last year in the Rose Bowl against Michigan. He reminds me of Keyshawn Johnson except with no talent.

You start out motorcycling with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

That's because Keyshawn is his mentor. I kind of agree with Smith because a rookie that can't get in the game has more things to do than talk to the media.

Well, enough to at least get on the field and play. That's a helluva lot more than Jarrett has.

I didn't think Keyshawn had the chance to mentor him. Remember Keyshawn was telling Jarrett to stay in school another year because he's not ready for the NFL. Obviously he didn't take that advice. Then when Carolina drafted Jarrett it wasn't much lnoger after that Carolina released Keyshawn.

Steve Smith is the man.

BTW- Keyshawn did have talent. Gotta respect a man for going over the middle as fearlessly as he did.

We're talking about the same Keyshawn Johnson that had 106 or something catches in 2001, and only one TD...right??
