Default The Red Sox Do It Again!

Boston wins the 2007 World Series, a ticket to Seventh Heaven*!

Discuss.

*That'd be a reference to the seventh World Series title ever, and the second one in four years. I'll review this thread sometime, but definitely after I get some sleep! And do some research/homework of course.

Congrats to the BoSox.

They did it big time this year. It wasn't even close.

Wow...what a heart attack the eighth was for us Sawx fans in Game 4. Yikes!

Anyway, now that baseball season is over I can finally get some sleep...to rest up for Sunday, Colts-Pats. My Pats, I predict, will take it by 6.

Here's a quote emailed to me by a close buddy who lives in Denver and drank the Rockies Kool-Aid: "Scotty, I couldn't help but paraphrase a famous saying following Game 3 of the Series: 'Ask not for whom the bell tolls, Rox fans, the bell tolls for thee.'"

Anyway, I'm shittin' in tall cotton nowadays...why? Red Sawx are da champs, the Pats are annihilating opponents, and best of all: My UConn huskies are ranked for the first time in school history!!!

to '07!

Personally, I can't stand baseball. Rather watch paint dry.

But I live in CO, which had both their Rockies go down and Favre toss a single throw to beat the Broncos in overtime, in the same day.

Being a native New Englander, I just stood back and watched the fun. The local news carried a news ticker that said 'Too Depressed To Riot'.

Another year where the World Series was actually played as the ALCS. Most of the NL teams don't stand a chance. They ought to consider adding the DH too.
