Default Cornhuskers fire Athletic Director

I know not to many people follow the Big 12 too close, but some people might have noticed the Nebraska Cornhuskers practically laying down for the last few games. No defence, no offence, and practically no desire to win. After Saturdays nasty loss to Oklahoma State, people were calling for everyone from the defensive coordinator, head coach, and the athletic director to be fired. This afternoon the AD, Steve Pederson was let go.

Pederson was who fired Frank Solich after a 9-3 season to hire Callahan who is currently leading a Cornhusker team that is breaking all sorts of records for having a bad year.

Now I'm not a Husker fan anyway (I'm a firm Longhorns fan), but it will be nice to see some of the locals not getting so restless. Being a native Nebraskan, I can appreciate what Nebraska football mean and will welcome any change that might result in the team fighting for title games again.

Dude, like isu even had ANY chance. Im just suprised texas didnt roll 70.

That being said (ISU sucks this year), they seriously have to have the toughest schedule in the nation this year. Nebraska, Texas, TTech, Oklahoma, KState, Kansas, Missouri???!! All ranked in the top 20/25 this year. Looks like Gene wasnt the saviour they thought he was, yet..

Yeah, in the 4th quarter Mack Brown wouldn't let his 3rd string quarterback punch in while in the red zone. Instead they went for a bogus 4th down and let ISU have the ball back. I'm sure Mack didn't want to embarrass Gene. To bad the ISU team was a big enough embarrassment to handle that feat.

I love it when both Nebraska and Notre Dame suck...
