Default Brett Favre breaks All-Time TD mark

I know this forum has mixed feelings on Favre but you gotta give a little credit where credit is due.

Good to see him get it.

Did you see the stats they had lined up between Farve, Marino and Manning? Manning will, if he stays healthy beat that record as well.

yep. i am a favre fan, but before the season started i was one of the fans who said he should retire.

when he said he wasn't, i was kind of glad he was coming back one more year b/c i've always thought he was fun to watch.

good for him.

Oh yeah. If Manning continues at the pace he's on he'll destroy the record. It's just like comparing Alex Rodriguez's stats to Bonds' stats.

I just like seeing Favre playing well right now. It has really shut up his critics.

Wow, that was spot on....I respect him for his ability as a QB, but for some reason, he is hard to like or root for....

If you play long enough your bound to break a bone too... The man's streak is just as impressive as Cal Ripken's.

He hasn't missed a game in like 15 years. And he is not a sliding QB... He is a dive into the endzone over people head first type of QB. Just freaking amazing.

He is a gun slinger who LOVES to play the game.... top 3 QB of all time, and this season he is throwing the ball like he is 25..

Atleast he did it because he WANTED to play the game for himself AND his teammates. He didnt take HGH or steroids to increase his performance. He did it because he felt he couldn't let his team down. The man just wanted to make it through the day after being beaten on a football field. Pain killers are addictive, and to his credit, he beat that too.

Peytons number are almost hard to believe. they're real...i know but, its like someone created a QB in a Madden video game and set the difficulty on Low. Hopefully for his sake they will keep an O-line around him that can continue to protect him. he can't run and i'd hate to see him get knocked into retirement like a lot of other good QB's before him.

Yea, i'd definitly have to agree with you on that.

I can see him getting whacked one or two times and be done for.
