Default Drafterglow fades away

Urban Dictionary defines the Drafterglow as that secure feeling fantasy league owners get when they think their team is a strong contender.

I have 2 yahoo leagues and in both I felt fairly confident prior to the season opener. Indeed, I do have a couple standout players in each. But overall I'm looking like a rookie.

Well to be fair I am 3-0 in one league, but only by the thinnest of margins, mostly carried by huge performances by key players. It's a matter of time or injury before that ride ends.

The other I am now 1-2 and sinking. Winslow being hurt is going to drive me into the dirt on that league too. He was keeping me afloat by himself. I traded away Westbrook for a better 3rd reciever hoping Lynch would break out for Buffalo. But that is biting me in the ass now.

How is everyone else doing in their fantasy leagues? Hopefully I'm not the only one looking like it's all downhill.

I'm not doing very well this year either.

In two of my leagues I'm winless, and in one I'm 2-1.

winslow will be playing....

my one league i have mostly browns.....anderson, lewis, winslow, edwards, jones, bodden....and have been competative at 1-2 (close loss last week).

my other league is 2-1, barely. the big producers last year have not faired well this season....LT at 137 yards thru 3 games? brees has had negative point 2 out of 3 weeks? LJ, the ravens, chicago.......?

i guess thats why they play the games.

wanna see how bad my secondary QB selections are?

One league I have Rex Grossman as my backup, the other league I had Charlie Frye......Luckily I have Brady and McNabb as my starters. Cause come bye week, I am fucked.

I traded away Westbrook for Holt (WR- Rams) in one cause I had weak receivers and I figured Holt was a go to guy and I already had Lynch and Alexander for running backs.

The next day the Rams are held to a field goal and Westbrook has a monster day.....
