Dude, they were interrupting key plays, without it even being split screen, to hear some jackass editor of the AJC (who doesn't even like sports, and ADMITTED IT ON LIVE NFL BROADCAST) talk about "what Vick meant to Atlanta." Completely missed a touchdown while she was jabbering. Seriously, the Vick thing was BS, and perfectly timed to fuck with Falcons fans.
If I didn't care about Keith Brooking, Warrick Dunn, and Alge Crumpler, I'd say fuck it:
1. Timing of the first release coincided with the season ticket purchase deadline. The front office claims they had nothing to do with it.
2. Timing of the second release coincided with the first day of camp. The front office claims they had nothing to do with it.
3. Reports abound, credible sources cited around Vick's involvement in prior incidents, front office ignores it and stands behind Vick. Worst PR move ever.
4. Statement coincided with MNF with Falcons at home.
Granted, some of these things were indeed out of the front office (and Blank's) control. But they handled this very, very poorly. It's horsesheeat. Absolute horse dung doo doo brown.
And I was sick of the Katrina horseshit a long time ago, but it's brought up every time the Saints are mentioned.
