Anyone watch the PPV tonight??
I didn't really care for any of the fights...what was more interesting to me was the announcement that Mirko and Rampage are gonna be fighting in the UFC now.
Those two guys are gonna walk straight through the UFC fighters en route to titles and wins galore.

I was so pumped when I saw Mirko and Rampage were coming. They are gonna rule the UFC. Mirko is gonna beat Silvia down hard. Rampage is gonna powerbomb Liddel into retirement.
I thought they were all pretty good fights but I was pretty disappointed that Ortiz lost.

Yo, so was I when Tito lost. I like Tito.
I think the UFC has been purposely telling refs to end fights in controversial manners if they can...it sucks, but it does help sales. I mean, you and I both know if they start hyping an Ortiz-Liddel 3 that we'll all buy it.
But yes, you are right. Mirko is going to run through the heavyweight class. My only question is how many nobodies are they going to make him fight before letting him fight Tim Silvia. And Rampage is going to destroy the 205 class and he probably will destroy Liddel. He destroyed Liddel once before with EASE.
And, think about this, Mirko can get down to the 205 class if he wants to...so Mirko COULD end up with two different titles at one time, if the UFC would allow it.

I guess I shouldn't say that I didn't care for any of the fights...I meant by that that I was alot more interested in the announcements than the fights.
I liked how Arlowski won his...what a great shot while that guy was on the ground. And the McDonald-Leben fight was really good too.

i think the fight was stoped WAY to soon. Chuck was hittin arm 9 outta 10 shots on the ground and Ortiz was in the motion of standing up when the fight was called(Bogus move by the ref) Esspecially ith only 40 some odd seconds left. And Yes there is a top contender who has just moved to the UFC from Pride. Quinton Jackson ( Liddells only loss since 2003) Jackson has his first fight against some no name in Feb and will prob have a tittle match late spring early summer.. To add to the excitement Mirko Cro Crop has also moved in from Pride. 2nd best heavyweight in the world (Fedor being the best) Cro Cop will also make his UFC fight in feb and then will also have a tittle fight late sprring early summer against "The Mess" Tim Sylvia. as in the other thread I agree. but chuck was getting the best of him 1 and 3rd rounds I think the old tito was starting to come out in the 2nd. I tell you though, I like Tito alot but hes just not as good as he used to be. when he beat Forrest I think that was a joke. Forrest had him in points I think.

I was laughing hard when Arvlovski punched that guy out. It was like the whole time the ref was trying to separate them, he knew exactly what his next move was gonna be. I don't like Leben at all so I was happy when he got choked out. McDonald is gonna be really good one day IMO.

You're right man, it was like Arlowski was sitting there thinking "as soon as this ref says go, this guys getting KTFOd!!"
And then it happened. We all just started cracking up, it was great.
I also like when Forrest got knocked out, in his post fight interview he was like "I got knocked the fuck out, it's time to go home" then tried to exit the octagon on the wrong side...

i cant wait til i get a better place where i can order the PPV at my house cuz this gion 2 the bar and watchin the same tv as 300 other people and having to get there at 8 to get a good seat is gettin old

I'm not so sure about Rampage Jackson just walking through Chuck Liddell. His stand up is just awesome and his ability to avoid the take down is pretty good. I'm looking forward to Rampage fighting a couple other 205 pounders before taking on Liddell.
Silvia better be paying close attention to how Cro Cop destroys his next opponent because he is on the short list.
when cro gets there you'll start to see a bunch of veterans switching up the training regiment. i have yet to see anyone as skilled with the hands and legs as cro cop. as far as jackson, i'll reserve my coments till i can really se him in action. anyone got a clip of this cat?

Rampage absolutely destorys him in every way, shape, and form.
