That was one of the few Basketball fights I have seen where a punch actually connects. That should get Melo a few games at least. I don't know why he was even there, he wasn't even near that play at all. I actually liked what Isiah said after the game when he commented that he didn't even know why Melo would be in there with the game nearly over and clearly out of hand score wise.

Maybe if Isiah put together a better team, he wouldn't have to worry about getting embarassed at home by the nuggets...
Situation doesn't seem much different than a manager telling his pitcher to plunk somebody.
I would of come up swinging too if someone tried to "take me out" because their sorry azzes were getting embarassed at home...What if the guy landed wrong and blew his knee out and was out for the year...All because that collection of garbage you call a team was getting embarassed at home like they usually do and that was the only way they could stop it.
I still believe is sportsmanship and the starters should have been sitting, but that is no excuss to take somebody out...
But wait a minute, what's up with ya boy Carmelo Anthony. Why, when the fight got mostly under control and there was about five people in between, did Melo' punch the one guy in the face?
Then when the dude came back at him, ready to knuckle up, Carmelo was nowhere to be found. I mean the dude ran damn near the length of the court to get and Carmelo was nowhere in the camera's sight.
Was he like, "oh shit, there's no one in between us now. Let me get my ass on".?
