Default 49R's vs. Packers Game Sunday

So someone invited me to a football game on Sunday. They have box seats and its going to be raining. I don't much care for football. I watch maybe once more other than the Superbowl. I am wondering if the box seats are worth driving 5 hours there and 5+ hours back for or if I should just pretend to be sick so I don't have to go. The tickets were payed for by the persons company and they want to leave during the 3rd quarter. I find it pointless what do you guys think.

If you're not into football much and have to drive that far I wouldn't think it's worth it.

Especially if you're planning on leaving during the third quarter.

You start out motorcycling with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

Well, it depends.

If it's "box seats" then no. Box seats are just seats outside that are in the regular stadium.

However, if it's a "luxury box" then it might be worth it...because a bunch of those types of things are usually catered and stuff...

Didn't even catch that.

Why the heck would you leave in the 3rd quarter?

Because last time they left at the end of the game it took 6 hours to get out of San Francisco. I thought the same thing when they said it. I find it totally useless and I think its catered but its not the best of the best box seats. I think it'd be easier to go to someones house set up food and watch it from comfortable seats, specially since my tail bone is all messed up right now. I'll probably just fake being sick or something because it doesn't sound like much fun to me. thanks for the help though.

After finding out that we did not have box seats and were going to be sitting in the rain I was able to scramble my way out of it. Hurray.... I'll be watching tv all day tomorrow.
