Red face Coker is done at Miami...

He won a national title, his athletes graduated, and he went 59-15...Most coaches can only dream of those accomplishments in their lifetime...

But he lost it the last few years and now he's gone..The "U" will recover...

Time to start wooing Schiano and Spurrier

I really hope Schiano doesn't end up down there.

He's a great fit at Rutgers right now...and besides that, if he leaves Rutgers, I'd want him to come to Michigan State!!!

But yes, I think Coker is getting a bit shafted...but in the big business of college football accomplishments from a few years ago simply don't matter. He'll find somewhere else to coach and he'll be fine.

Can't say I'm surprised this happened. Maybe it's just me but it sure seemed like he didn't have a lot of control over his players.

You start out motorcycling with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

I would have to agree. He seemed to lose this team this year...not exactly sure how, but it seemed to get worse as the season progressed.

You gotta believe that Spurrier's mouth is watering now. He won't be able to win a title with South Carolina, but if he headed to "The U" it would seem like a perfect fit. Coach who has all the swagger of the school, great recruiting skills, and ability to contend for a national title.

Could you imagine the riots that would start in Gainesville if Spurrier went to Miami?

You're probably right, but I'll take my chances...

Realistically, I don't think Schiano will leave Rutgers...He's a God there...

But Spurrier, on the other hand..........................................Just might go...

Cowboy86 is right...He ain't winning a title at SC, so he might as well go where the talent pool is already deep, and has a good chance of making a run for the championship...

I bet there won't be any more brawls on the field or shootouts at the apartments. I think that's why Coker got the boot. His players seemed to have little to no respect for him. Or, he just didn't give a shit how his players acted.
