Heres a question.... Whats the main differences between pride and ufc? I saw some comments before in the past when I looked at one of the threads mentioning that pride had better fighters or something about how no way ufc would fight one of the pride guys .. I don't know.. fill me in

PRIDE
Heavyweights; 205 and up= Owns UFC's class.
Light Heavyweights= Not a PRIDE weight class
Middleweights; 183-205= Equivalent to UFC's Light Heavyweights. PRIDE also owns this division.
Welterweights; 161-183= Equivalent to UFC's Middleweight class. UFC owns this class.
Lightweights; Less than 160= This division will be pretty equal once UFC gets their lightweight class back in order.
UFC
Heavyweights; 206-265= Suck
Light Heavyweights; 186-205= Getting better every week, but still cant touch PRIDES equivalent class
Middleweights; 171-185= UFC owns this class.
Welterweights; 156-170= UFC really owns this class
Lightweights; 141-155= Again, pretty even.

I hope Rampage comes back to fight in the UFC, that would really help out the LHW division.

Not likely. Chuck has surpassed Rampage.

i'd love to see liddell/rampage 2, however, first it needs to be liddell/sobral 2. i'm a sobral nuthugger so of course i want him to win. can he do it? maybe, maybe not, but he has earned his shot, that much i know.
now, as for liddell/rampage 2, you better give rampage some cans to build his confidence back up then a few decent opponents before he gets lidell. don't get me wrong, i like rampage a lot, but where he's at right now... he needs more confidence before he can handle liddell again.

no doubt babalu earned his shot, and although most people are counting him out i think he has a good chance at beating chuck. rampage most likely would get fed some cans before he got the shot at liddell anyway.

say this a little late but i'll still chime in. as far as the big differences... the ring vs the cage. travis covered the weight classes.
in the ufc - no kicks or knees to the head on a downed opponent, and they also allow elbows. in pride - knees, kicks and stomps to the head are fair game no matter where your opponent is, and they dont allow elbows.
