Nate Marquardt Vs. Joe Doerksen - Marquartd has WAY too much class for Doerksen. This will be a good one. Marquardt by decision.
Mike Swick Vs. Steve Vigneaul - Not sure which way this will go, but I can guarantee somebody gets knocked in the 1st round. Could go either way.
Yves Edwards Vs. Mark Hominick - Edwards by decision
Rob MacDonald Vs. Jason Lambert - Lambert by TKO 2nd round.
Tom Murphy Vs. Christophe Midoux - Ehhh, Murphy by decision.
All in all the US is gonna OWN Canada in this ppv. I think the only Canadian I got winning is GSP. Can't wait!

Damn Im good! other than the Edwards bout.

Definately not match the year, but still awesome. I cant believe Penn. The dude looked like is his head was somewhere other than the octagon. That was definately not the same guy that got Hughes in a rear-naked choke.

And on a side note, They sure Fucked Up Royally with the whole USA vs. Canada didn't they. All those fans were fucking rediculous. And some people wonder why Americans are viewed as selfish and arrogant.

What a war! These guys were amazing, and Loiseau has gotta be the toughest guy in the world. So whats next for Ace? Marquardt I bettin, especially after that win angainst Doerksen. Or maybe Swick after hes had a few more fights? Oh and Franklin > Henderson.

oh god, i know right. what was with the whole boo'ing GSP after he won. how god damn stupid are you? you cheer him any other time, but wait! its USA VS. CANADA! yeah, we better show how patriotic we are by boo'ing one of the most classy and humble fighters around. he handled it very though to his credit.

don't forget about franklin's toughness either, broken hand in the 2nd, and still kept coming. as far as whats next... i would think it would have to be marquardt. personally, they NEED to bring back ivan salaverry, how do you let him go after 1 boring fight w/marquardt, he's a great talent. swick has a punchers chance, i think.
i'd love to see henderson come over to fight franklin. that ones a toss up for me. franklin has better stand up, but hendo's got that big right hand. henderson is the better wrestler but franklin has better subs. definitely a great match up.

Oh definately on Franklins toughness! And the conditioning on both of em, wow!
As far as Salaverry, yaeh they're nuts. IMO hes in the top 5 as far as UFC middleweight. I think he could take Marquardt in a rematch

Soo... im just starting to watch this stuff because they show them on one of the HD channels. Last night there was some fight Between some mexicanamerican guy who won by decision and it was either chuck liddel or randy catour was in the audience and the guy who won the fight said something about kicking his ass and the person that used t obe known as "The Worlds Most Dangerous Man" and they got all pissed off and were saying shit to each other lol. It was almost kind of gay like wrestling(WWE,WCW type). Otherwise they were good fights.
Anywase who was suppose to be the main fight for this Usa vs canada? Diego Sanchez Vs. John Alessio ? I don't know as I said im just starting to watch this I dont know who anyone is.

HA. diego wasnt the main fight, especially cuz he was fighting some can to pad his record. rich franklin vs david the crow loiseau was the main bout for the middle weight title, which franklin held on to. many, including myself, saw the main bout as GSP v BJ Penn because they are the top two welterweights right now. i watched this event at the bar so i couldnt hear much of any commentary or crowd noise so i cant comment on any of that. i felt gsp won that fight by taking the 2nd and 3rd rounds. as for the loiseau and franklin, that was a great fight but i think rich could have and should have ended it sooner(2nd, or even 3rd) even though the crow rocked him in the 3rd. it was obvious rich's hand was bothering him and i think that is the only reason it went to a decision. couldnt believe edwards got subbed, although i was yelling for the triangle moments before it was sunk. he should have seen it coming. bad predictions on my part, but before the gsp/penn fight i knew if it went to a decision the stronger more athletic gsp was gonna take it. i am also confident the franklin/loiseau fight def would have ended in a tko in the 2nd if richs hand was 100%.

That would of been UFC 51 that u saw. Tito Ortiz won a bout against Vitor Belfort I believe and then proceded to call out both Liddell and Shamrock. It was very funny. You gotta understand thats just how Tito is. It mightve been played up a bit or even staged, but I doubt it.
