it was a good win for chuck, too bad he was kinda overshadowed by randy's retirement. oh well, not like he cares, he still won. hopefully his next defense will be against renato sobral, he's earned it.
now if they could only get him to fight on of the guys from pride... jackson, silva, shogun, arona, any of em would be an awesome fight. they would have to get pride to send one of em over here though. ufc would never risk sending one of their new poster boys over there.

look what happened last time dana sent someone over their, chuck got his ass beat by quinton. i hope dana would try to arrange to have rampage come fight chuck in the ufc. anyway it was a good paperview. did you hear the rumor about riggs and diaz post fight at the hospital?
im looking forward to the next ppv, the crow might just take the MW title and ofcourse we cant forget about the fight of the year, GSP v Penn.

yeah, he was getting schooled by overeem until that wild hook. then he was worked by jackson. that ring is just no good for chuck i think. he cant put his back against it like the cage and walk himself up it.
ufc 58 should be a good one though, cant wait for franklin/crow, and your right... penn/gsp has fight of the year written all over it. lets hope they live up to the hype though

so far its shaping up to be a great year for MMA. now we can see if the winners from TUF2 are worth a shit. im betting joe stevenson might be ok, but rashad is most likely gonna be a joke. aracana, lets hear some predictions...
franklin/loiseau----the crow
penn/gsp---gsp
hughes/gracie---gracie(hopefully)
ortiz/griffin---ortiz
arlovski/syliva---arlovski
ortiz/shamrock(at end of TUF3)---ortiz, lol

I say Franklin beat loiseau
GSP just keeps getting better, and if he can avoid being submitted, he'll win. Thats easier said than done against Penn though.
Gracie ass is toast.
I'll take griffen against Ortiz as well. Watch.
Theres no one that can compete with Arlovski in the HW division as of now.
Who cares, but Ortiz will spank Shamrock.

sorry for the novel in advance
franklin/loiseau---kind of a toss up, i'll pick franklin because he has the more polished striking. howver if the crow lands a few elbows or that back kick... its over for franklin
penn/gsp---i can't bring myself to pick against gsp, with the roll he's been on after dominating mayhem miller, and destroying trigg. add those two fight to the fact that penn had extremely sloppy performance in his fight against renzo gracie that was over 8 months ago.
hughes/gracie---i would love to see gracie sub matt, but that could just be a mauling waiting to happen, ya never know though.
ortiz/griffin---ortiz
arlovski/syliva---arlovski (cut his contract, he takes up too much money to fight no competition. granted its the same way in pride with fedor, but at least he has great competition. at least he would if he wasnt so god damn good)
ortiz/shamrock---ortiz
by the way snigg, i remember you saying before you haven't seen to much of Fedor, so here ya go

franklin/loiseau - Franklin wins, it will be a good fight but he is the man at 185 right now.
penn/gsp - Can't go against GSP the way he has been fighting, but I definatley not ruling Penn out.
hughes/gracie - Hughes wins, without the Gi and keeping 5 min rounds it doesn't look good for Gracie.
ortiz/griffin - Ortiz has more big fight experience, but I am going with Griffin ...he will get it done one way or another.
arlovski/syliva - Arlovski, better all around than Syliva.
ortiz/shamrock(at end of TUF3) - Ortiz takes this one.
I am looking forward to seeing more of the TUF 1 & 2 guys, to see what they really have. Leben, Quarry, Guillard, Stevenson, and Burkman all have the tools, can they do what it takes to win? I am also wondering who Sanchez will fight this year, there were rumors of him getting a shot at Penn, I don't know where that stands now with the GSP fight ...

I was really hoping the Army ranger won (Courte). Oh well the better man won and it was a good fight.

Liddell is in his prime right now. So I wasn't suprised to see Couture go down especially because of both of their fighting styles. Liddell is a defensive fighter that preys on offensive fighters and he took Couture out just like the second battle. Great night of fights tho.
ArcanaSV - thanks for the clip - never seen Fedor fight before. Is he undefeated?

thanks for the link arcana. zeus fedor is currently 23-1 with his only lost coming from Tsuyoshi Kohsaka. you can find just about any fighters record and who they've beat/lost to on sherdog.com. anyway, i dont know how you guys are predicting forrest to beat tito. tito is a seasoned fighter, who has forrest beaten? stefan boner? forrest wont be taken seriously IMO until he beats someone with some talent. as for gracie/hughes, i am only predicting gracie because i want him to win. i am tired of all the matt hughes nut huggers, although he does deserve it. he is a very talented fighter, i think it is just time for him to lose. if gracie cant do it, penn/gsp will for sure. same thing with the middleweights, im getting kinda tired of franklin and would like to see some action in that division as well. after the crow, im not sure who else can challenge rich. i know josh burkman from TUF wants to fight diego, i think they should feed him to diego then send diego up against an established WW(trigg, sherk, karo, riggs). the welterweight division is gonna bring us some great fights during 06. i agree that chuck is in his prime right now, which is why im hoping dana can pull some strings and bring rampage to the ufc, at least for one fight to whip chucks ass. i dont think babalu has what it takes to beat chuck right now, so they need to bring in some new competition in that division as well. damn sorry for the long post, as you can tell im excited for the upcoming ppv's.

As far as griffen, just watch grasshopper.
Gracie wont beat hughes, and GSP already got submitted by him. I'd expect to see him defend the title against whomever wins this fight though at some point.
Franklin hasn't gone against anybody that had a real shot of beating himn since he's held the title. The crow will be his first legit defense IMO. The man at middleweight Id like to see fight franklin is Ivan Salaverry.

His name is spelled Couture. not Courte.
I plan on going to Atlantic city in April to watch one of my high school wrestling team mates fight in Ring of Combat X. My brother fought in IX, and it was pretty cool to watch amatuers. A lot more knockouts and tap outs and crazy stuff people try.

like snigg said, he's 23-1. his loss to Tsuyoshi Kohsaka was due a nasty cut. he fought him again and just murdered the poor guy, and stopped Kohsaka by a cut.
