not a fan of the Steelers but I have a great dislike for the overhyped Colts. the Steelers are looking damn good. thing is you can be up by 21 on the Colts and they are back in it in a blink of an eye.
What an ending to that game, I was seriously shaking so bad in anxiety for the last 4 minutes of that game. It shouldn't have even ended up like that since Polamalu intercepted that ball. But hey we won it and that cocky SOB vanderjagt lost it for them. I'm happy, but I am a little worried about Denver since we haven't played them in so long and I never really watched them.
That really was a great game. What I want to know is how come everyone is calling Vanderjagt cocky? Did he make a comment or something because you aren't the only person that I have heard say that.

what the hell were the refs thinking when they reversed that interception call?????? trying to give Indy another shot. Great game if you throw that bad call out

Yeah the reversal was nuts, I was with one other steeler fan and 3 rooting against them and when they reversed it the 3 against it were jumping so hard all the speakers for the surround just fell down. They even said that they should have never reversed that.
And yes I think I would rather see New England in the championship game against us since we have played them already. I haven't seen or heard a thing about Denver this year and they were the #2 seed. They definately flew under the radar. I just hope we can take them.
The Steelers will have a tough time with Denver. Denver is undefeated at home this season and like Travis said, they have flown under the radar all year. Noone has given them the respect they deserve with a 13-3 record. The game will be close, but Denver will come out with a win.

yes, wasn't it obvious. All the money invested in Manning this year, and the tragic death of Dungy's son, it would have made a hell of a story for them to continue. There is nothing in the rules to overturn that call as Polamalu made a "football move", constituting a fumble rather than an incomplete pass. Reminds me of PSU vs. Michigan.
if anyone can can beat Denver at home its the Steelers, but I think that game yesterday prolly drained them and they have to take that long trip out West and Big Ben is banged up. gonna be a good one either way.

+1 The steelers are a playing great on the road. the end of that game was intense. after that f-ed up call to take back troys int, and the fumble by betis (that never happens) and what a tackel by big ben to save the game. also, Denvers kicker, what an ass. yeah he talks alot of shit, he didnt even come close, he pushed that kick so far right it was like he didnt even try. Denver wont be able to stop the pittsburgh offense and the the steeler Defense will shut down denvers run game. yea ben might be banged up, but its the playoffs, everyone is banged up. the playoffs is when the desire to win will overcome any pain. the key once again will be for pitt to get an early lead. i hope we only have to beat denver and not the refs this week. GO STEELERS.
