Default NFL Mock Draft

1. Houston - Reggie Bush RB, USC - id rather see the Texans trade down to add more picks and upgrade their terrible offensive line.

2. New Orleans - Matt Leinart, USC QB - i bet he wants to go to the Titans to work under Norm Chow, his offensive coordinator at USC.

3. Tennessee - Vince Young, Texas QB - wants to go to the Texans, but they already have a young expensive franchise qb, Titans situation would be best for VY, Steve Mcnair 2.0

4. New York - D'brickashaw Ferguson, Virginia OT - any qb worth taking this high is gone, so they take the best player available.

5. Green Bay - Jimmy Williams, Virginia Tech CB - another team i would like to see trading down for more picks and a blue chip wide reciever.

6. Oakland - AJ Hawk, Ohio St LB

7. San Francisco - Mario Williams, NC St DL

8. Buffalo - Winston Justice, USC OL

9. Detroit Lions - Michael Huff, Texas DB

10. Arizona - Lendale White, USC RB

11. St. Louis - Mathias Kiwanuka, Boston College DL

12. Cleveland - Tamba Hali, PSU DL

13. Baltimore - Eric Winston, Miami OL

14. Philadelphia - Santonio Holmes, Ohio St WR

15. Atlanta - Haloti Ngata, Oregon DL

16. Miami - Vernon Davis, Maryland TE

17. Minnesota - Leonard Pope, Georgia TE

18. Dallas - Jonathon Scott, Texas OL - The Cowboys need major help on the OL. when Bledsoe had time to throw the Cowboys won, and when he didnt they lost.

19. San Diego - Derek Hagan, WR Arizona St

20. Kansas City - Marcus McNeil, Auburn OL

21. Tampa Bay - Mercedes Lewis, UCLA TE

22. Cincinnati - Laron Landry, LSU DB

23. New York - Chad Greenway, Iowa LB

24. Jacksonville - Laurence Maroney, Minnesota RB

25. Denver (From Redskins) - Chad Jackson, Florida WR

26. Pittsburgh - Ty Hill, Clemson DB

27. Chicago - Antonio Cromartie, FSU DB

28. Denver - Abdul Hodge, Iowa LB

I don't know - I think Vince Young is in New Orleans. They need a QB, and they need someone high-profile who can do it all - like Young. I just don't think Leinart is that guy.

Leinart will end up somewhere like Arizona, Tampa Bay, Cleveland or Oakland - maybe even Cincinnatti - now that that situation looks so bad for Palmer (damned shame - but, that's part of the risk of the game). If Leinart is top 5 - it's as a Jet. They're hurtin' for a QB as well.

not that i give a crap about the ravens, but why would they waste a pick on another tight end when they have heap?

i hope young does go to the titans though. he could learn a lot from mcnair, considering he is one of the only scrambling vetern qbs right now

New York Jets - Pennington is injury prone
Oakland - Al Davis is crazy and loves big names
Detroit - Joey Harrington aint gonna cut it, and Jeff Garcia is 35
Atlanta - big brother has a lot of pull
Dallas - Bledsoe only has a few more years, Henson hasnt us shown anything
Kansas City - Gannon only has a few more years
Cincinnati - depends how Carson Palmer heals up

if one of the above teams dont take a qb earlier, I could see one of those teams taking Marcus Vick in maybe the 5th or 6th rounds. The guy has million dollar talent but a 10 cent brain.

LOL, is Gannon playing with that huge neckbrace he had on after he broke his neck his final year?

I could really see Marcus Vick going to the Raiders. They're hurting for a qb and Al Davis is notorious for bringing in talented yet troubled players.

What? Marcus Vick? He's going to the same league that his fellow fellon from Ohio State went to - I can't even remember his name now! Marcus Vick is a problem, he has had problems in the past, he's a criminal, and no team wants to put up with the "gangsta thug" from Virginia Tech - we have those in the NFL already - must we admit another? And a mediocre one at that? If it wasn't for Mike Vick, Marcus would never have amounted to anything much more than a footnote in the College Football annals anyway.

Marcus Vick is a mediocre college football player - he will NOT make it in the pros.

I'd wager he doesn't even get drafted.

I will take that. If he is still there by the 5th round, (and he wont be BTW) some team will use a 6th or 7th round pick on him. I say he is gone by the end of the 3rd.

Vince Young will go to the Titans, since McNair is like an advisor\close friend to him and word is has pumped him up with the Titans and offered to stay to assist in bringing Young along. Atleast the Vick kid has a rich brotha to help, and we all know $$$ talks, as for Maurice Clarrett, LOL, now I don't even think the AFL deal is still on the table and he definately has no $$$!!!

i read some where that Clarrett is buddies with Lebron James. I could see Lebron giveing Clarrett a job, like he did his other buddies. but im sure there is a nfl team out there willing to give him a shot. low risk, high reward.

No way. Leinart WILL be the #2 or #3 pick. If I'm NO I'm thinking long and hard about this one. I think they will go with Leinart because he's a conventional QB, and they need a fresh face/big name for the franchise. With their luck, no matter which QB they select it will probably be the wrong guy.

BTW, nice work there jlu....some good info there. I do, however think that Lendale White will go a bit higher, and no way makes it past GB if he's there.
