If I remember right, I think there were a few fans around here, but not a whole lot. I think most sports fans were like me and enjoyed it when the NHL was on strike and we didn't have to see hockey on ESPN or when surfing through channels. Sorry. For your sake though I hope your Flyers do good.

i love hockey to. my penquins are in trouble this year. just fired coach edzo, thank god. lemieux is playing like the old man he is. he is out now because of a heart condition. sidney crosby is the only one playing with any balls. i played college and jr. hockey now i just play beer league to stay in shape. i think ESPN shows more stuff about baseball durning hockey season, drives me f-in crazy. oh yeah GO STEELERS ... i will say that i am still getting familliar with the new rules in the NHL this year. i hope it brings back fast hockey, the way its supposed to be.

We will be playing the penguins on Friday. Crosby's been getting thumped pretty good by the Flyers (not much love) I am lucky to live about 1 1/2 hours north, and every game is broadcast. I've got a good handle on the new rules, the hooking and holding calls are getting rediculus.

I've been playing for 12 years now and enjoy any type of hockey.. minor league, NHL, fantasy hockey leagues, in-line and ice..

couldn't be happier that hockey is back. even though my Penguins are gettin' roughed up, and its hard to watch it on TV. thank god for the OLN network...
