Idiot might have been better off on a 250. He whouldn't have had the power to pass all those riders!

Such technicality people..
BUT I think he accelerated way before, which made him mess up the line, to which he tripped out and ended up target fixating on that curve.
Like I said, he wouldn't have been in that situation on a 250 because he would have been stuck behind the other riders.

It's not a technicality, it's an attempt to have a meaningful conversation. Saying he was on a ZX-10R instead of a GSX-R1000 would be a technicality.
A case of riding a bike over his head would be (and I thought was going to be) where he passes all those bikes at "ludicrous speed" and then has trouble getting stopped in time for the road in front. This actually happens a LOT, especially to new riders on 600SS bikes. They don't realize how fast speed builds once you hit the powerband (because they're "respecting" the bike), they get out there trying to pass, and by the time they get back in their lane, the rear of a car is suddenly coming up at 130mph.
That's not what happened here - by his account he was going 85mph, which seems about right as far as I can judge; and both his speed and his acceleration for several seconds before the crash were within any bike's capability.
So I disagree with your original point; not on a technicality but on an actual real difference of opinion. It's not clear to me what your new, revised point is.

all i can say is "Dumba$$!"
i also do not like people passing me in my lane. there WAS a riding buddy of mine that passed me on the right twice. not going THAT fast but still retarded. he said he did it just to get a laugh. i gave him some choice words and he could not believe how it could be unsafe to pass someone on the right in deer country no less. someone got their ID-10-T card renewed i'm thinking.

Looks like he got a little spooked when that car came the other way as he was entering the turn?
Not sure though.

Man he fucked that bike up nicely. I think the swinger and motor are about all that is left.

But, the fact that you “certainly hope” I wear a helmet is so condescending it makes me want to ride a tricycle completely naked doing doughnuts in your front yard screaming Beastie Boys lyrics at midnight. Trust me, you do not want that. My buttocks are extremely pale and unsightly, especially in moonlight.

What is it with GSXRs and their frames snapping at that particular point. This pic reminded me of this thread
07-08 Gsxr 1000 Frame Breaking Issue, Pics
As for the vid, I'm just glad he didn't take someone out in the process of exhausting his talent in the middle of a corner. Could have been a lot worse had this been a right turn.
