Default poor mans helmet cam test lol

I was a little bored today and decided to try out putting a Nikon Coolpix L18 into the interior of one of my helmets to see if it would do decent video while riding . I think with a little bit of velcro to hold it in place and get a better position so it will see more of the road, this might be a decent way to make helmet cam videos atleast until I get a GoPro or something.

Sorry about the fogging and having to vent every now and then. I edited out most of it. When the weather gets better and I get a new rear tire I'll post up a better vid. Until then not bad for the little camera IMO...

That would work great for anyone with tubular bars. I wouldn't have room for that on a clip-on though.

LOL, the helmet was an older one I never wore that was too big for my head. But it worked for the short video test . Bike sold this morning and I threw in the helmet as part of the deal. I will miss the Hawk rumble though.

I know I know . But I'm one of those kind of folks that tends to go thru bikes every so often. I know its supposed to be about the guy with the most toys in the end wins, but my garage nor my wife would let me become part of that elite crowd of men . It was time to move on. I've been riding the streets for over 12 years and I have decided to go back to my roots on dirt for a little. I might be back later on. Definitely another vtwin or triple on the next go around.
