Hell dude dont sweat it, first time out makes a guy nervous. Just relax and let the bike do what its supposed to do.

i need a whole new bike. a dedicated track bike. i was too nervous about laying my baby down. but still, a 2:02 isnt too bad, eh?

ya i feel ya. i was having troubles moving around on the bike. didnt have any under armour and my leathers were sticking to my legs! next time tho, its on!

I still want a track bike, but after you go for a few and start to relax you realize that as long as your riding within your limits it shouldnt be a problem. I think you probably do. Take your time. One of the fastest guys I know admits to being one of the slowest riders his first year out.
My first couple I was very slow, but really wanted to do everything right, something I dont think I could have achieved in my early bulldog twenties. Now that IM comfy its not such a big thing to get another bike, I will still, becouse I want to really start pushing it, but in the meantime IM just happy I get to have the experience

Nah.. gets some track plastics and a dedicated wheel/tire combo for the track.. A lot cheaper than a new bike....

ya i feel ya. but still risking damage to frame, forks, subframe, replacing clip ons, rear sets, etc. im always thinking about the worst case scenario, lol.
