My close call - as seen by my tank cam
I rode south out of Polk County, FL with a great group of folks.
Well, it's orange picking time and I guess there is some sort of hurry to get them from the trees to the juice plant.
This is my close call as recorded by my tank cam:
Close Call
Enjoy.

It all happened fast - I think there were 2 or 3 bicyclists in the oncoming lane and the semi wanted by.
My wife was riding 1/8 mile or so behind me. Thankfully she didn't watch it hapen - she would have freaked.

I did this same thing, except it was in a 35mph tightish left hander. I was leaned over in the center of the lane, saw a Blue F350 coming at me, going farther and farther away from the white line = farther over the double yellow. I had to shift my whole body a bit off to the wrong side of the bike and put my helmet against the tank all the while widening my path around the turn so I didn't A) hit his bumper and B) eat that freaking huge tow mirror he of course had extended. My heart stopped at the time, I don't know if I reacted with instincts or it was just plain luck, I think a bit of both. I shook for 10 minutes after that.
When I got to the truck coming around the curve in your video my heart stopped and I had a really scary reminder of what I went through.
