Yeah, YouTube compressed the crap out of the video. It's DVD quality on the flash card.

What solid state DVR are you using and waht does the LANC control button do? I have a 580 line bullet camera I velcro to my helmet and use a cheap Aiptek recorder to record onto SD cards. Its annoying though to have to pull over every hour or so to change tapes. Thanks.

I'm using the ChaseCam PDR100. It will accept 32GB Compact Flash card and has built-in power terminal to connect it to your battery. The LANC button is to control the recorder and camcorder. One button will turn both on, record, pause, stop, and turn off.

Yeah, I don't have a place anywhere online to put up the video. The quality is pretty much determined by the camera. A lot of bulletcams now can record in DVD quality.

I have a 560 and i think its good dvd quality can vary from perspective to perspective.
