The incident was captured by traffic cameras, which clearly shows many cars (over 40) just passing by the dying motorcyclist, minding their own business. It took a while before some pedestrians finally went over to him to see how he was. The 63 year old guy ended up dead in the intersection.
really shitty part is. if that happened in my state, no law says anyone has to stop to help.
Nevermind state law, the law of human nature should have prevailed. That was just wrong. You'd think the other rider would have at least stopped to help!

That's one thing I like about riding in here...even though it's dangerous and you never know when the other rider is out to rob you, there are still many moto-couriers that will help anyone on two wheels, be one of their kind or not.
I went down the other day in the rain when a lady driving a SUV cut me off, and a couple motocouriers that where behind me stopped to help me even thought nothing had happened to the bike or myself. Another one even yelled at the lady LOL
Keep in mind what side of the world that is on...I know it sucks they left him down but you never know who could be packing a bomb.......could have been a bomb plot gone wrong for all they know

Playing the devils advocate here... but you can't really blame them for not getting out in an intersection like that, getting out there puts you at risk of winding up just like he did. The traffic at that intersection is utterly insane, to say the least.
wow that was nuts... didnt even look like that bad of a wreck... wonder why he just ran right into the back of that cement truck like that... but still you figure someone would have called for paramedics atleast...

If I could get a list of all those indifferent bastards, I would follow them around until something really bad happened. Then I would make sure NO help was on the way, get in their face and say "How does it feel now, motherfucker?"
Luckily, there are also good people out there. Like the bikers who came to help me and my buddy out when he crashed in the mountains of Georgia. Like the guys who helped me when I wrecked a while ago and made sure my bike and I got home safely that night.
When there are that many people around your chances of getting help are slim to none. Everyone assumes someone else will do it. It's terrible to see it in action.
