That happened once on my '94 Camaro at an autocross event. It has a dual-friction lining, and if you try to feather it too much, you can pretty easily light the clutch instead of the tires. Smells different, though.

that's dumbbbbbbbb... i used to have a 89 ford mustang with a friggen 4 beater in it and i could smoke the rear tire (open rear, so only one tire spun). i have a honda friggen civic now and could light my tire(s) up.. this guy is an idiot!
